Sambhaji Kadam (born 5 November 1932 in Deogarh, Maharashtra State) is a professor, former dean of the J.J School of Art in Mumbai, and a portrait painter, musician, poet and art and literary critic. Education: G. D Art, (Drawing & Painting)Mumbai, 1956. Appointed as a teacher in the Dept. of Drawing & Painting of Sir. J.J School of Art, Mumbai. 1957. Appointed as a professor in Drawing & Painting, 1973. Appointed as the Dean, Sir. .J. J School of Art, Mumbai. 1977. Requested for voluntary retirement to devote fully to Painting, writing and music- 1980. ==Achievements== Won awards including Dolly Cursetji's competition in 1956 as a student.
